Five engines, each with its own character—from classic to experimental. Normal and HQ modes give you ten algorithms to shape your sound. Right-click Rate for tempo sync, double-click to type exact values, and each engine remembers its own settings.

- Rate Sync: Right-click Rate for tempo-synced divisions (straight, triplet, dotted). Syncs to host BPM, capped at 20 Hz.
- Type values: Double-click any value label to enter exact numbers. Enter applies, Escape cancels.
- Engine persistence: Each engine stores its own rate, depth, offset, width, mix, color. Switching engines loads that profile.
- Feedback: Dialog with usage stats, save to file, email with pre-filled body — or submit feedback here.

Choroboros is a free multi-engine chorus plugin designed to give you complete control over modulation. Whether you need the warm vintage character of bucket brigade and tape delay (Red engine), a transparent wide stereo chorus for vocals (Blue engine), or a low-CPU multi-voice ensemble for stacking on bass and synths (Black engine), Choroboros provides the right tool. Built for macOS (AU/VST3), Windows (VST3), and Linux (VST3), it features an unprecedented live diagnostic Dev Panel to solve common mix issues like mud, phase cancellation, and clipping in real time.

Is Choroboros free?
Yes. The beta is free and open-source under GPLv3.
What platforms are supported?

Why does my Mac block the plugin?
The beta is not yet code-signed. See the installation guide for Gatekeeper instructions.
Will there be a paid version?
A commercial version with additional features is in development. The open-source edition will remain free.
